Canberra Christmas Markets at EPIC December 04 2011

Thanks to everyone who visited the first ever Canberra Christmas Markets this weekend - it was a great event. Thanks to Susan for a great organisational effort, and we'll look forward to the markets again next year.

From Friday December 9th to Sunday December 11th, we'll be at the inaugural Canberra Christmas Markets, at Exhibition Park (EPIC showgrounds) in Mitchell. 

UPDATE: We're in the Quokka pavilion, near the main Flemington Road entrance. Plenty of free parking!

UPDATE 2: Opening early at 10am on Saturday 11th - combine your Farmer's Markets and Christmas Market shopping.

Inspired by the outdoor Christmas markets in Europe, the Canberra Christmas Markets are a local initiative, and promise to be a great alternative to shopping malls for the holiday season.

The markets will be open from midday to 9pm Friday 9th, Saturday 10th, and Sunday 11th of December.
